A palette of nude and blush tones for Liz and Tom...

Nude, blush, oatmeal, pale champagne, parchment... whatever you call it, this palette is totally on trend this year, and what better way to highlight this than by showing you the exquisite pictures that we have just received from Venetia Norrington, of Liz and Tom's celebration....

Back in June, I was lucky enough to be invited to create the wedding flowers for the second of the Miles' daughters, having worked with a sea of white and green hydrangeas for sister Caroline's wedding only last year. Now that's good word of mouth!

Since they were using the same beautiful grounds of her parent's house as those used for her sister's wedding, Liz was keen to ensure that the feel was very different, and I think she certainly achieved this.

We used the Ecuadorian rose 'Quicksand' alongside blousy white peonies, and a selection of other textured flowers to give her bouquet a natural yet neat and elegant feel. A piece of the Mother-of-the-Bride's wedding dress was incorporated around a rose near the centre of the bouquet (which we did similarly for Caroline).

For the bridesmaid's bouquets, I added the warm cream rose 'Vendella', and - one of my current favourites - the blush-nude rose 'Mentha' which gave a broader spectrum of colour. Another strong trend for 2015, the use of gypsophilia was also key, and the look came together fabulously with a stupendous cake created by the Groom's mother.

Sadly there are no more Miles' daughters left to marry off, but a big thank you must go to the family for allowing me to be a part of both Caroline and Liz's special days. Enjoy married life, girls! x
